Club Development Grants
The Scottish Volleyball Association has long advocated a policy of club development being one of the primary threads of the overall development of the volleyball landscape. The Clubs which populate the work of the SVA represent both centres of excellence for current players, and the positive learning environment for developing junior players.
The Club Development Grant Programme is designed to acknowledge the value of our clubs, and provide an opportunity for clubs to seek grant resources to further improve their structures or delivery.
The grant award scheme has four separate levels to it:-
- Club Start Award - This grant is available to clubs newly formed/being formed or exisiting clubs entering a new team into the Junior National League or upgrading into National League.
- Early Club Development Award – grants in this category would be available to all affiliated clubs (junior and senior) to help with minor projects. This level of award would also include all of the grants currently being made available to school clubs
- Club Development Award – grants in this category would be available to all affiliated clubs to help finance various projects – this would still include school clubs.
- Gold Star Club Development Award – grants in this category would only be available to affiliated senior clubs, and only for major projects.
Grant Award sums
| Clubstart | £400 per award | |
| Early Club Development Award | £100 per award | |
