This is a single day course, c. 10.00 am until 3 pm

Through a mix of practical (the biggest part) and theory young referees will be given the confidence to referee school festival matches and JNL matches at the lower level. Emphasis is on technique and fun. A referee T-shirt is issued on successful completion.

Clubs wishing to organise this course need to:

  1. contact the JNL organiser, sufficiently far ahead for tutors to be organised  as up to three tutors are needed
  2. JNL organiser will book the hall – needs net (preferably long net) balls antennae (several sets), flags for line judging,  referees stands (enough for the number of courts);
