“Scottish Volleyball do an excellent job developing young people and putting them on the path to representing Scotland and Great Britain. We are very proud to support the work they do and to help increase the opportunities for Scotland’s young volleyball athletes” announced Helen Timms Schelde Sports UK Sales & Marketing Manager.
Schelde Sports provide world class sports equipment to schools, clubs and institutions throughout the UK and the deal will see /Schelde become an official supplier to SVA. This supplier status to SVA will lead to further support including world class volleyball equipment that will act as a legacy item for the elite structure, clubs and leagues in Scotland.
“Our sponsorship will provide the opportunity for the best young talent in Scotland to train and play on the same equipment as the GB Olympic stars and elite players throughout the world” added Timms.
SVA will use the support to ensure the legacy of the sport is developed in advance of the 2012 Olympic games and create a strong base for the sport to build from.
