Head Coach of the Young Senior Women’s National Team Programme

Vince KrawczykThe SVA is delighted to announce that Vince Krawczyk has been appointed as Head Coach for the Young Senior Women’s National Team Programme.  Vince is one of the most experienced, and successful coaches we have in Scotland, and is well known throughout the game.

Vince has a coaching record stretching back many years, with several groups of players and Clubs, in recent years in particular with Troon Volleyball Club who are the current Women’s Champions.  Throughout this period he has worked with the National Team Programme in several capacities, the most recent being with the UK School Games Programme where he won the Boy’s event in 2008.

When asked for his comments on the job he has signed up for Vince reflected;

“I am delighted to have been appointed the Head Coach to the Scotland YS Women’s team. If it is an honour for a player to be picked for their country, I think it is an even greater honour to be asked to coach your country at any level given all the responsibilities that this entails.

I am really looking forward to working with the very talented players in the current squad and in helping to recruit and develop the next generation of young seniors.  I am also keen to engage with the coaches who will play such a big part in taking the programme forward.  Knowing the quality within the present playing group and the standard of the coaches whom I hope will come on board, I am fully confident that we can all look forward to a very exciting and successful few seasons.

“I would like to thank the Association for giving me this opportunity.”

On behalf of everyone involved with Scottish Volleyball we wish Vince every success in his new and exciting role, and look forward to him continuing the considerable levels of success he has achieved in his Club Coaching career.
