Small Countries Division celebrates ExCom meeting in new premises

The Executive Committee of the Small Countries Division (SCD) met over the past weekend in its new offices in Liechtenstein. This meeting inaugurated an historic new beginning made possible through the support of CEV President André Meyer and is also a result of the partnership established with the National Federation of Liechtenstein and the government of this Principality.

Discussion covered the inauguration and development of the new SCD facilities, SCD administration, competitions, events and the rolling-out of the SCD Strategic Plan announced to CEV Congress in Izmir last year and to be finished for the next Congress slated for October 2010 in Ljubljana (Slovenia).

Vice President Margaret Ann Fleming of Scotland chaired the discussions as President Andreas Stavrou was ill and unable to attend, together with Secretary General Philippe Schuermann (LIE), Treasurer Peter Eichstädt (LUX) and Press Officer Paddy Murphy (NIR).
