This was another busy festival day, that will always through up 
some unexpected surprises! A number of challenges where presented to us prior to the start of the tournament, however the staff and young athletes took it in their stride and produced a day of quality volleyball.
The morning pools produced some interesting results and an exciting play off between Mearns Castle and Marr to decide the final places in the girl’s pools.
The Afternoon pools witnessed far tighter games and a more appropriatelevel for all sides to compete in. The eventual winners of the girls pools was Marr College and the winner of the boys competition was Belmont Academy.
Thank you to all the staff who have given their time to develop and encourage your pupils. I look forward to meeting you again at future Scottish volleyball events.
