The Draw for the 4th Round of the Scottish Cup w
as completed today by the Senior Women’s Captain and East Regional Development Officer Jennifer Thom in the Scottish Volleyball Headquarters.
The draw has pitted 3 all Division 1 ties and also some other potentials to be fantastic contests. Last season’s Runners Up Edinburgh Jets start their challenge away to First Division side Dundee while their League leaders City of Edinburgh face a tough home match against form side South Ayrshire. There is also a mouth watering tie between Su Ragazzi II and Glasgow Mets II on the cards.
In the Women’s Competition, defending champions City of Edinburgh kick off their defence at home to new side Su Ragazzi II. With the Glasgow side coming through their pool comfortably, they will be looking forward to taking on the strongest team in the country at the moment. Edinburgh Jets II and Edinburgh Jets will meet for the 4th time this season when they do battle to progress to the next round. Universities of Dundee and St Andrews will lock horns to be the only female University team to make it to the Quarter Finals this season.
