2013/14 Coach of the Year

It’s that time of the year again, when the Coach of the Year Award is decided.

Your Volleyball Club is eligible to vote for the Coach of the Year – whether you play in the School’s Competitions, the JNL, or the Senior National Leagues…..you can vote!

This year we are simplifying the first stage of the voting process by providing you with the opportunity to do it on-line. Click here – the process will only take you a few minutes.

• So, who has impressed you this year?
• Who supported their team to achieve some great results?
• Who has demonstrated great sportsmanship – or has been a fabulous competitor…your vote tells us.

There are 3 stages to the Award process;

Stage 1 – your Club members can nominate a Coach from the list of registered coaches whom you think has done a great job. These initial nominations need to be made before the deadline of Friday 28th March 2014.

Stage 2 – the Clubs of all those who have been nominated are asked to supply an endorsement for their Coach – they are asked to tell us just how good the Coach has been. The Club endorsement forms need to be returned before the deadline of Friday 11th April 2014.

Stage 3 – the completed club endorsement forms are reviewed by a ‘Jury Panel’ of experienced coaches and the winners selected.

It’s easy!

There are two categories of awards;
• Coach of a Female Team

• Coach of Male Team

The nomination process is open to those who are coaching at ALL LEVELS of competition in Scotland. Voting can be done online or alternatively contact the Coaching Manager at the SVA offices for the voting forms.

So, who is working to raise the performance bar? Who is driving the game forward and setting the performance standards……who are the male and female coaches of the year………it’s up to you!
