School Games Squads Step-Up Preparations

Since the squads were chosen at the end of June the players have had a break from the volleyball court with a focus on strength, conditioning and individual fitness.

All four squads were back on court on Saturday working hard to get their ball control and gameplay up to scratch.

With the squads now confirmed (if you missed the selections you can view them HERE) it is also an important stage for the squads to start bonding together.

The groups step-up their preparation with a tournament this coming Saturday 9th August which will take place at Linlithgow Academy.

For the first time the tournament will see a School Games ‘All Stars’ team compete, which will be made up of players who have represented Scotland at previous School Games.

The tournament is open for spectators and free to enter, please feel free to come along and lend some support to all players at this key stage of the preperation cycle.

The schedule is below (for both male and female);

1130 Scotland East vs. School Games ‘All Stars’

1300 Scotland West vs. School Games ‘All Stars’
