Scottish Beach Volleyball pairing of Lynne Beattie and Melissa Coutts will make 
their debut on the FIVB World Tour this Friday in Sydney.
The team are currently seeded 14th in the competition and will await the results of Thursdays Preliminary Enquiry draw before finding out their opposition in Round 1 of the competition.
After a long and tough winter which took in 4 morning sessions a week in the darkness of Portobello, the team and their support staff have been working hard to ensure the start the 2017 season is stronger than last years. The winter training programme took in tournaments in Copenhagen and Prague with some great results and against very good sides.
The road to automatic qualification for Gold Coast 2018 starts in Australia with the aim to be back in that part of the world next year to compete in the first Commonwealth Games for Beach Volleyball.
