Continuous Professional Development (CPD)
It is with great pleasure that I am able to announce the second of this season’s CPD clinics, which will be presented by SVA Staff Coach John Scrimgeour.
The topic for the clinic is The Development of Coaching Practice. John will look at intervention strategies, planning, and the construction of practice drills around the theme of ball control, when working with Junior Players.

The CPD clinic programme is one of the many success stories of Scottish Volleyball. This clinic is aimed at developing coaches, and will feature players from the City of Edinburgh Club Junior Academy.
Places on the clinic will be limited, as the intention is for John to support the work of the participating coaches as they deliver to the junior players – almost like a mentoring session.
