Developing the setter – Fast Track Programme 2019

The 2019 Fast Track Programme

The Fast Track Programme is part of the National Team pathway for players and coaches. There are three Fast Track sessions with the theme of ‘developing the setter’.

The first session will be on Sunday 20 October from 10.00 until 1.00 in Perth College.  The focus of the work will include moving in rhythm, ball handling, linking with passers and decision-making.

This session is part of the National Team Academy and is open to all players, male and female, who have a desire to become a setter and coaches who train and develop their setters.  The session will be delivered by SVA Staff Coaches and members of the National Team Coaching Staff.

The Fast Track sessions are a rich source of information for coaches as part of their ongoing coaching development.  Coach development will become more important in the coming years, with attendance at events and courses more essential.

To participate in this Fast Track session as a player or a coach, you need do is contact me at: coaching@scottishvolleyball.org
