I wish to congratulate you on completing the course requirements and having passed the written examination of the SVA Grade IV Referees Award that took place on the above date. I hope you will find your experience as a referee rewarding and look forward to your progression through the grades as you continue training in the future.
Please find enclosed an official SVA Referee Badge and a set of red and yellow cards with the compliments of the Referees Commission. The badge should be attached to a white shirt and worn each time you officiate a match (additional badges can be purchased). Please note that you are also required, under Article 6.4 of the SVA rules of competition, to wear white training shoes to officiate.
Your updated membership card stating your referee qualification will be sent to you shortly. Your membership card must be presented to the scorer of each match that you officiate. Please take photo id to your match.
Your membership and licence should be renewed on an annual basis. This will allow you entry to the next level of referee course, Grade III, which you must attend within two years (by end of season.). Details of future courses will be published on the SVA website when available, or contact the Referees Commission.
