Further to Volleyballs success at last years Glasgow Sports Personality of the Year Awards where Thomas Downs was awarded ‘Coach of the Year’, this year we are aiming to raise the profile of Volleyball further and acknowledge the success and commitment of the key clubs and individuals in Glasgow.
This years GLASGOW SPORTS PERSON OF THE YEAR AWARDS 2009 invites nominations for the following categories
- Glasgow Disabled Athlete of the Year Award.
- Glasgow Service to Sport – Lifetime Achievement Award.
- Glasgow Team of the Year Award.
- Glasgow Young Sportsperson of the Year Award.
- Glasgow Club of the Year Award.
- Evening Times Glasgow Sports School of the Year Award (Primary).
- Evening Times Glasgow Sports School of the Year Award (Secondary).
- Glasgow Student Athlete of the Year Award
- Glasgow Coach of the Year Award
- Glasgow Volunteer of the Year Award
- Leader’s Special Award
- Lord Provost’s Award.
- Sportsperson of the Year 2009
All Glasgow clubs, organisations, schools and individuals are invited to nominate for the awards.
