Calling all budding coaches! Scottish Volleyball’s coaching manager John Scrimgeour is organising a Level 1 Coaching course in Dundee over two Sundays, the 3rd and 17th of July. We are excited to invite our members to attend to develop key attributes for a coach.
Level 1 course content; The SVA Level 1 course indoors examines the skills associated with ‘How 2’ coach, and the content of ‘What 2’ coach when introducing and developing the game of volleyball.
The format of the course includes an examination of physical literacy, how to develop body posture, which leads to ball control and developing game play and tactics. It will also examine the role of the Coach in preparing and delivering practical sessions.
The course structure will link the theory with the practical over the course of the two days of delivery led by the course Tutor.
Venue: Menzieshill Community Centre, Dundee, DD2 4TQ
Date: Sundays 3rd and 17th July 2022 (attendance required on both days)
