The Scottish Volleyball Association is delighted to announce we will present a 
level III Coaching Course in December 2017 to coincide with the National Team’s Christmas Camp. This three-day event will provide a backdrop and players for the practical sessions of the coaching course.
The theoretical elements of the course will examine the role and responsibility of a Head Coach when planning, implementing and reviewing an annual coaching plan.
The level III course will be divided into four separate sections;
• Section 1 will be a pre-course review of the candidate’s coaching practice
• Section 2 will be the three days of on-course delivery
• Section 3 will be a call-back day to review the main themes, and examine some of the sports science
• Section 4 will see the candidates plan, deliver and review a project with
their club team aimed at performance development.
To sign up for the course candidates must have a level II coaching award, and must be working with a club side that practices at least twice a week.
