Net-Set-Go North - More MACvolley Success

Aberdeen Sports Village was the stage for the S4/5/6 North MACvolley (More Active Children through Volleyball) schools festival.

14 teams from 6 schools arrived on Thursday for the S4/5/6 North NetSetGo Festival. Over 90 students enjoying school sport in 48 matches at the outstanding three court venue.

Participating schools:

Stromness Academy Dyce Academy
Aberdeen Grammar Perth High School
Alford Academy Banchory Academy

The competition was attended by 6 teams from Stromness Academy, traveling from Orkney via Northlink Ferries to participate in the event. A huge show of commitment to our sport from all involved.

The competition finished with Aberdeen Grammar as champions in both the girls and boys.

The SVA development team and staff would like to give thanks to the students, teaching staff, Active Schools co-ordinators, Aberdeen Sports Village facility staff and parents/carers for supporting this event and for their ongoing support of volleyball in Scotland.

Next on the MACvolley, NetSetGo calendar is the S2/3 East MACvolley Festival at ENgage sports center on Tuesday 20th of November.
