Semi-Final day. A vote of thanks

Steven ToddSaturday 22nd February was the first day of the count down to the finaly of Volleyball’s National Competitions. Semi-final day is always full of drama, passion and competitive edges with Saturday past being no exception to the rule!

St Margaret’s High School is a new venue for both Scottish Volleyball and the players. It was unusual territory which took all players, coaches, referees and our own very special, Special Events Team a bit of time to get familiarised with.

The day went off without a hitch and if there were any, no one would have known. High praise indeed for the volunteers, Commissions and professional staff that organised this event, well done.

Lyndsey BuntonTherefore a huge vote of thanks to all those who participated, performed, provided support and applauded every point, set and match won. An extra note of thanks to John French and North Lanarkshire Council for their continued partnership of Scottish Volleyball, we all very much appreciate this Councils involvement with our sport.

It is true to say that:
“Scottish volleyball would not work without everyone’s support, enthusiasm and dedication.”
M A Fleming, CEO Scottish Volleyball.
